AccomModation:

With several accommodation options, all of which located at close proximity to the college and surrounded by amenities such as food, grocery shops, public transport and free shuttle services*, students can rest assured that their well being is well taken care of.

Facilities:

Common areas in the house are fully furnished. Room are furnished with bed, study table, wardrobe and air-conditioner.

Rental & Payment:

  • One month rental deposit.
  • Three months rental in advance
    * Rental rates are NOT inclusive of water, electricity and internet bills.

Terms of Tenancy:

The minimum stay is 3 months and can be extended up to 6 months upon CMA management’s review. (For extension, 3 months monthly rental in advance will be required)

Mode of Payment:

Payment shall be made to TOC either by cash or cheque at the Bursary Department. (CIMB Acc. No : 12490013901050, THE OTOMOTIF COLLEGE SDN. BHD.)

Reservation:

Reservations of accommodation are based on a first come first served basis and priority will be given to students from overseas or other states.

  • Medium Bedroom: RM350/person (Triple Sharing)

International Visa Application:

Step 1 - Course Application

  • Passport Sized Photo
    • 8 blue background passport (3.5 cm x 5 cm) sized photos (Please state your name at the back of each photo). Important: For accurate reference of the blue background, please refer to the sample provided.

  • Photocopy of Passport
    • Photocopy of passport (3 sets) on A4 size paper (must include ALL pages including the empty ones). Please ensure passport validation is at least 1 year from the expected intake date. Note that every page must be attested /authorized /certified true copy by local Ministry of Education or the school authorities.
  • Medical Checkup
    (Diploma or Certificate in Automotive Technology (CAT) applicants)
    • Medical check-up must be done in your hometown and another medical check-up will be done in Malaysia 7 days upon arrival as per Immigration authorities requirement. However, color blindness, dyslexia, physical disability, heart diseases and allergies are some conditions that may render applicants unsuitable for our programs.

    • Release letter, results and attendance report (for transfer student within Malaysia’s institution)
  • Result Transcripts
    • Transcripts or High School/O Levels/A Levels or any other equivalent results. It must be attested/authorized/certified true copy by local Ministry of Education or the school authorities.

  • Application Fee
    • Application Fees MYR 2,000 ( Visa Application Fee, Insurance and Medical Check-up) + MYR XXX (Personal Bond)
      • You can send us a bank draft (international) for the amount OR
      • You can bank in the money in your country, after which you can forward us the T/T slip for our confirmation of payment.
    • Payment can be made in USD or MYR. For students who are making payment in USD, please ensure reference to the updated USD exchange rate of the day is used. A quotation for the rate can be provided upon request. Please note that Application Fee which includes EMGS Visa Processing Fee and Medical Screening is non-refundable.

Step 2 - Offer Letter

  • Offer letter will be issued once TOC receives student’s application and payment. (1-2 days)

Step 3 - Visa Application

  • TOC will submit student’s visa application to Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) to process visa approval letter (VAL). The process takes 8-12 weeks (based on processing time taken by EMGS)

Step 4 - Visa Approval

  • TOC will send a notification to inform student on visa approval. TOC’s representative will courier out the original VAL, Letter of Offer and Official Receipt to student’s address.
  • Student is required to apply for an entry visa from the Malaysian Embassy in their respective country (if necessary)

Step 5 - Tuition Fee Payment

  • Once Visa Approval Letter obtained, student needs to pay the first semester tuition fee before arrival.

Step 6 - Immigration Clearance

  • Student share flight details with TOC representative for airport pickup arrangement. TOC’s staff will assist student with immigration clearance at the airport.
